Another day, another great $50 suite from Priceline, thanks to Robbi's fondness for Bill Shatner. The Wyndham Orlando Universal Resort is so big, the staff all tool around on golf carts: 16 buildings, 2 pools, lakes, fountains, fragrant flowers, luxurious beds, 2 TV's in 3 rooms, etc.
Got to Universal Studios about 1PM but didn't stay. Walked around a bit, took a free boat ride, and long walk back through meticulous landscaping; towering bamboo, everything in bloom, better than any park we've seen so far. Unfortunately decided not to bring camera. With only 4 hrs til closing, concluded that CDN$250 was too much to pay to queue in 92F heat for rides that are probably pretty cool, but not cool enough under the circumstances.
Came back to the hotel for a swim instead: big pool, 11' deep; cool enough. Steak and pasta at Uno's. Over-ate and under-slept again. Getting a trucker's belly. So sad. Watched usual Sunday funnies on Fox, in bed. Asleep by 10PM. Awake by 1:30AM. Lucky the bed's so comfy.
